Hasta que la dignidad se haga costumbre

Somos estudiantes de la Universidad de Texas, en Austin, que provenimos de Chile y de Wallmapu (territorio histórico Mapuche). Vimos en Distribute 2020 una oportunidad para visibilizar en el extranjero cómo se ha vivido la revuelta popular, cómo hemos “estallado” en múltiples acciones y reflexiones que buscan hacer posible una vida digna para todes.

Reconocemos que Chile es un Estado-nación fundado en 1810 sobre un territorio que pertenece a una pluralidad de pueblos como el Mapuche, el Aymara, el Rapa Nui, entre otros.

We are students of the University of Texas at Austin, who come from Chile and from Wallmapu (Mapuche historical territory). We saw in Distribute 2020 an opportunity to make visible abroad how the popular revolt has been lived, how we have “exploded” in multiple actions and reflections that seek to make a dignified life possible for everyone.

We recognize that Chile is a nation-state founded in 1810 on a territory that belongs to a plurality of peoples such as the Mapuche, Aymara, Rapa Nui, among others.
